You're Never Too Old for Cartoons!

Saturday mornings were made for relaxation. A hearty breakfast, some time with the newspaper and a pair of slippers can be a comforting thought. You're getting old. Do you remember the coolest thing about weekend mornings and being a kid? Cartoons!

The Suburban World Theater in Uptown, Minneapolis is hoping that the allure of cartoons is still enough to bring you to their venue. Located across from Calhoun Square on Hennepin Avenue South, the newly renovated cinema/grill hosts breakfast and cartoons on Saturday mornings from 9am-2pm. Admission is free, but seating is limited in the 240 seat complex. On the movie screen patrons will be treated to classic animated features such as Mighty Mouse. On your plate will be your favorite items from Suburban World's full breakfast menu.

The theater itself offers an environment filled with nostalgia and compliments it with one of our favorite pastimes. Visit their Myspace page or www.suburbanworldtheatre.com for more information. The venue will also be hosting a Super Bowl viewing party on February 5th at 4:30. Have you been to the venue before? What do you think about the cinema/grill experience?

So true, the waitresses often need random people to get groceries when the kitchen runs low too...it all has to do with the popularity of this place. Check it out :)
