NOISE COMPLAINT
I love my apartment but I am rarely there. I don't have guests over often, play loud music, or make much noise in general. Yet somehow my one and only neighbor (I have a laundry room to the other side of me) has found a reason to complain about me. Read the letter I received from my building management followed by the first section of my rebuttle letter to see exactly what's happened thus far (click each to enlarge).

Nice, you have to love jackass neighbors like that. When I lived in 'Stallis, we lived in one of the only "dog-friendly" apartment complexes in town. Our collie was the quietest dog in the whole place, honestly. One evening, we had gone to bed early and were awaken at 1:30am by a friendly Milwaukee police officer. He said he was responding to a noise complaint that our dog had been barking nonstop for hours. Funny, considering we had been asleep in that very apartment while our dog was barking like mad. Episodes like that teach you very quickly that the only good neighbors are dead neighbors. I like your rebuttal letter, best of luck!

Dave- I bow.

Russ- that story is equally ridiculous. No wonder we have so many issues in society- if you can't at least respect your neighbor then who can you? People assume that this is their world and everyone else is just a guest that is there to serve their needs. Apparently our role to our neighbors is to help maintain their zen at all costs.
